The Communities and Families Clearinghouse Australia (CAFCA) is funded by the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs through the Stronger Families and Communities Strategy 2004-2009. It continues the work of the Stronger Families Learning Exchange which supported the 2000-2004 Stronger Families and Communities Strategy.

CAFCA aims to improve access to current information and resources to assist those working in the field of early childhood and community development. CAFCA will support initiatives that develop and promote improved services and practices toward child friendly communities.
