Privacy
The Institute website and its subsidiary sites do not use cookies. When you visit the AIFS' sites a record of the following information is logged and may be used for statistical purposes - the user's server address, the user's top level domain name (eg. com, gov, au, uk, etc), the date and time of the visit to the site, the pages accessed. No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities, and these records will not be used other than for statistical purposes, except as required by law. The staff who maintain the AIFS site are subject to the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988.
We will only record your e-mail address if you send us a message requiring a reply. It will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and will not be added to a mailing list. We will not use your e-mail address for any other purpose, and will not disclose it, without your consent.
When users choose to join a specific mailing list to receive publications or information, their details are added to that specific mailing list and reserved for dissemination for that purpose.
We may use electronic forms to gather personal information for purposes directly related to a function or activity of the AIFS, for example the Promising Practice Programs databases on Clearinghouse sites. This information will be used only as specified in the request documentation.
There are risks associated with the use of the Internet for transmission of information. If we use electronic forms to collect information, we will offer you alternative means of providing it, such as a mailing address or telephone contact number.
