  • Published biannually, the Issues Papers offer in depth articles focusing on policy and research relating to child protection issues.
  • Newsletters
  • The Child Abuse Prevention Newsletter is published biannually, and includes research updates, upcoming conferences and seminars and information about training opportunities. The articles provide information on policy developments, project spotlights, summaries of research and practitioner updates.
  • Research Reports
  • As part of its research and specialist advisory role, the National Child Protection Clearinghouse has produced a number of research reports assessing elements of child protection and child abuse prevention practice. Some of the recent reports are listed here.
  • Journal Articles
  • These journal articles have been published since 2001 by present and past staff members of the Clearinghouse.
  • Briefs
  • The Briefs series are electronic publications comprised of Practice Briefs, short papers which aim to provide practitioners with an update on the latest thinking on specific practice issues, and Research Briefs, which describe the findings from research projects undertaken by staff in the National Child Protection Clearinghouse.
  • Submissions
  • As part of its research and specialist advisory role, the National Child Protection Clearinghouse has produced a number of submissions assessing elements of child protection and child abuse prevention practice.
  • Resource Sheets
  • The Resource Sheets series are brief, frequently updated articles, compiled by staff at the National Child Protection Clearinghouse, covering a wide variety of topics such as the economic costs of child abuse, mandatory reporting, child abuse offenders and child abuse statistics.
