The Stronger Families Learning Exchange (SFLEX) was funded under the Stronger Families and Communities Strategy 2000-2004. Its purpose was to contribute to the formation of an evidence base from which to inform policy, practice and research in strengthening families and communities. This was achieved through a Stronger Families Clearinghouse and an Action Research Training and Support Team which supported projects funded under the Strategy.
With the completion of the 2000-2004 Strategy, SFLEX's work has also come to an end. From July 2005 this website will no longer be updated but preserved as an archived site.
The work of SFLEX will be continued by a new clearinghouse - the Communities and Families Clearinghouse Australia (CAFCA) as part of the 2004-2009 Stronger Families and Communities Strategy.
